Transgender has been an integral part of Indian history. Transgender has been mentioned in Indian mythology, But as far as equal rights of Transgender are concerned, there is no such mention in Modern Indian history, till recent past. Even after attaining independence, there was no significant improvement in the condition and working situation of  Transgender.

It is a matter of the recent past decades that if a Transgender baby was born in a family, then his family members could not keep him/her in their house even if they wanted to so. After all, what is the fault of the baby for being born Transgender? But due to social unacceptability, the Transgender baby had to abandon his parents’ house. Since they were not provided with the means of education and employment, they were forced to live their lives by doing the job of a sex worker, begging, dancing etc.

The fact that cinema is a reflection of society is well-known. Cinema is a reflection of what is going on in society. But, to break the ice, Food For All Chennai is celebrating Christmas with a group of lovely people from the Thozhi Trust, which was established for the empowerment of Chennai's transgender community.

The event was well-organized, with a lunch provided as well as basic necessities such as a pillow, bed sheets, mat, and some snacks.

During the event, an elderly trans woman in the trust has a medical issue.

Food For All Chennai founder Louis Feranando quickly stated that the trust's medical expenses would be handled by the FFAC team in the future.
