ANBINOLI-DIWALI KONDATTAM

As this Diwali brightens our happiness with our loved ones. Team Food for All Chennai decided to make this DIWALI a memorable celebration amidst the Covid tides. So they decided to spend time with Dasarikunathur (a small village near Singaperumal Kovil in Chengalpattu district) out of pure delight in making their innocent souls happy and filled with joy, and this youth volunteered to come up with 'AnbinOli'. Every Diwali, when the entire country lights up with joy, happy faces, and the sharing of sweets. This village is still struggling to meet basic needs such as food, electricity, and regular income. Following that, the team envisioned this mission AnbinOli and made every effort to complete it.

We celebrated Diwali with single parent and with the Dasarikunnathurds last week, commencing with welcome drums and continuing with Kuthuvilaku etrudhal (LIGHT THE LAMP) by important guests like Mr.Manikandan Assitant, Head of the village; Mr.Karthick, Founder Yazh Art School; Mr.Rajesh & Mr. Egabaram -Local Coordinator of the village The event continued with small cultural programmes such as dancing and singing, while a team of volunteers prepared a lunch for the villagers, along with sweets. As part of the festive celebration, they also distributed new dresses, crackers, sweets, and small gifts to families and children.
