Though the pandemic situation has turned out our life upside down. Slowly,we all started adapting to the corona era.But,the cyclone Nivar has sank all the hopes.The unprecedented rain in several spells across the city during monsoon season has devastated many of the residents without seeking much attention comparatively.
Even as the coronavirus pandemic and heavy rains delivered a blow on the farmers in the State, the government has been trying its best to bail them out, However, the government did its best to alleviate the sufferings of the farmers amid adverse climatic and market conditions.
Still relief has not reached the affected people in the worst affected parts.The trace left by cyclone has adversely affected people of Moolakuthalam. Especially, Nivar caused extensive damage to Mrs. Vijaya house in Moolakuthalam, The cyclone blew away roofs of thatched houses and damaged walls and it was temporarily covered with plastic sheets during the cyclone Nivar.
Mrs. Vijaya who is single mother of two daughters were helpless during the natural calamity.After,the visit of our rescue team we came to know about Vijayas house and team Food For All Chennai along with Helping hand is a Humanity trust has decided to hail her by the relief fund crowd sourced by the duo NGO for the same.During the renovation process Vijayas family were taken care by the duo NGO by providing them food, shelter and dresses
After a month the house for Vijaya has been successfully renovated with the guidance of Mr.Venkatesh and Advocate Magimaidoss belongs to the same locality. FFAC has provided 11000rs as disaster relief fund and Helping hand is a Humanity trust provided 7000rs for the same.
